Briarcrest Christian School kicked off its 2015 varsity football season with a 23-20 overtime victory over visiting Evangelical Christian School last Friday night at Clayton Field. The Saints will host St. George's Independent School tomorrow night. BCS students Trey Harrington, Cole Staples, Hugh Fischer, Jeremiah Rinehart, Noah Adams, Jake Smithmier, Cameron Wright and Cal Templeton celebrate the opening kickoff.

Courtesy of Virginia Dawson- The Collierville High School mountain biking team competed in its first optional race last weekend at the Stanky Creek cycling event in Bartlett. A timed trial was held Saturday, and a race for the TN State Championship was held on Sunday. Sophomore Emma McVay, takes the podium for winning first place in the Women's Junior Timed Trial Saturday.
